They are Shelby, I think AMT 66 Mustang?

Hard to tell someone what to do with their build. You were wanting ideas for the grill. Did you want to stay with a GM look? Maybe a '53 Chevy grill surround. French in headlight rigs from a '53 or '54 Chevy. The headlight shape from a '55 or '56 might give a little more modern look.     One thing that I see immediately is the changes to the side windows. Looks like you wanted the look of a hardtop but by lowering the bottom edge of the windows this makes the roof look higher and the windshield look like you might have taken a little out of the A pillars which looks good.
