It’s a good location for sensory equipment, I’ll give it that. Though there sure are better ways to design around sensory equipment.

Like you said, Mercedes integrated theirs quite well by hiding it behind the star, or in the case of the S class, copying the design of the grille over the sensor housing:

True, but if the gas prices stay where they are now (or go even higher) all those Chevy "Subdivisions" or other large SUVs will end up on used (um, excuse me: pre-owned) car dealer lots.
