Seann Anderson Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Has anyone found a solid way of sealing off yellow plastic so it doesn’t bleed through? Thank you.
chris coller Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 A good primer/sealer, silver, gold, house of kolor black or urethane clear
Snake45 Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Unless you're painting the model white or another VERY light color, don't worry about it. 2

That's what I thought until I painted over yellow. It bled right through a medium blue on the second coat of clear. Steve Milberry uses a product called BIN by Zinsser. It's a stain blocker and comes in a spray can.
MeatMan Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 (edited) I did this over yellow and found no issues to this day. It was painted with Testors enamel spray. Edited July 7, 2022 by MeatMan 1

Ever have any issues with lifting or surface crazing? An specific paints you can't put on it? Thanks. Craig
slusher Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 I never had any issues with yellow plastic but I do believe Roger and others.
