Dragonhawk1066 Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 I was struggling for ideas and with motivation after the Foose Truck build, so I took a few weeks off until one or the other struck me again. While fiddling around, I finally got some motivation, and shortly after some ideas came to me as well. One of them being to try out the Testors Blue Galaxy Color Shift paint I got a couple years ago. I figured a late model Camaro was as good a canvas as any, so I got to work. I used the Testors Black Basecoat, then the Blue Galaxy, and then cleared it all in the same day. After a couple of days I wet-sanded, polished , and waxed it. Being that I bought three of these kits for the engines, this one would be a curbside, so no engine, engine bay, or undercarriage details would be there to slow down the build. I sort of detailed the interior, but after using Tamiya Smoke to tint the windows, you can't see inside anyways, lol. Anyways, really not a bad kit at all, not very detailed, but the fit was good for an enjoyable quick build to get the juices flowing again. 3
FLHCAHZ Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 Looks great! I have a 1:1 so I am partial to this car, but the paint work came out great! 1
