Monty Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 (edited) This car has always been a favorite of mine, but the only model I ever had of it was the notorious Heller kit, which I ended up trading off to a board member here. Someone posted a video the other day featuring some kits Revell will be releasing soon, and one of them was this Porsche. So, as the title says, is this new, a re-release of a previous Revell kit or just a rebox of the Heller or some Japanese kit? Edited July 31, 2022 by Monty
unclescott58 Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 Revell is coming out with a new 917? I missed that somewhere a long the line. I’m very interested in that. Next to the GT40, its still one of my favorite race cars.
niteowl7710 Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 (edited) It's the Fujimi kit reboxed as a RevellAG kit. It's been out for for a month or so in Europe. It's been a little while since the 1970 LeMans winner livery has been out, but Fujimi released it with that livery in the past as well. Edited August 1, 2022 by niteowl7710
OldNYJim Posted August 1, 2022 Posted August 1, 2022 Ohh, I had missed that this one was on the way too - cool! Ive always admired these cars, I’ll be picking one up. Random question - has Revell actually ever released a Skill Level 5 kit to date? I’d be curious to find out what their self-proclaimed hardest kit to build actually is

The Fujimi 917 is around 90 or so.
