426 pack Posted August 1, 2022 Posted August 1, 2022 (edited) Well decided to switch things up from my normal ratty/patina builds and try building something that looks nice. I'm starting with a Revell 66 Shelby mustang with a clearly scale boss 302 and t56 6 speed the wheels are from the revell foose 56 Ford, I will also be using the 9” rear end and mustang II style front suspension. It will be done in a show car/pro touring style and I will be doing a lot of custom/scratch build with the rear suspension, interior and engine bay. that’s all I have fingered out so far for this build but there will be more to come. Street Rod Posted August 1, 2022 Posted August 1, 2022 Off to a good start! That stance is on the money.
espo Posted August 2, 2022 Posted August 2, 2022 Impressive front suspension and the details of the engine look great.
mustang1989 Posted August 2, 2022 Posted August 2, 2022 Very nicely cast and detailed out engine. Looking forward to more of this one.
426 pack Posted August 6, 2022 Author Posted August 6, 2022 (edited) Sprayed some primer on the car and some parts. I’m also playing around with some stripe ideas that I scribbled on the hood with a sharpie. Edited August 6, 2022 by 426 pack 2

Koellefornia Kid Posted August 6, 2022 Posted August 6, 2022 I like where this is heading! The wheels are looking great under that pony and I dig the asymmetric stripe idea!
Dirkpitt289 Posted August 10, 2022 Posted August 10, 2022 Looking forward to seeing how this turns out
