misterNNL Posted August 28, 2022 Posted August 28, 2022 Since his passing I re-read his articles with a whole and reverant perspective.
Vintage AMT Posted August 28, 2022 Posted August 28, 2022 Link to a message from his family;* https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/thanks-from-the-ganahl-family.1272391/
Claude Thibodeau Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 Terrible news. He was a giant in his field. And his on-line newsletters (for lack of a better term) were so well-written and full of historical perspective. His masthead read "Committed to integrity". Indeed. Godspeed, Sir! CT
bobthehobbyguy Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 To lose a loved one unexpectedly would be devastating. I can't imagine what his family is dealing. I'm also sadden that his passing has been relegated to off topic. Automotive journalist, historian, hot rodder, and drag racer. You can't get more automotive related than that. Instead the notice is stuck with celebrity obits and numerous word games in a section many may not frequent because of that.
