I am wondering what my "readily available" choices would be for Hemi Orange engine paint....

I'm thinking Hobby or Auto Parts Store.....

some have mentioned getting it straight from MoPar..but my dealers dont stock it.....

what about Eastwood?

Hemi Orange body color is not the same as the color painted for the engine. The closest match I've used was OSHA safety orange which can be found in some hardware stores.

Here's a Magnum engine I painted with it a while ago................

If you want authentic HEMI orange engine paint just go to your local Dodge or Chrysler dealer parts department.

That's where I got mine.

They wil ask you if you want street or race HEMI orange. The shades are different.

Hey Bill, I don't mean to hijack your thread, but I would love to see more pics of your Daytona. From the pic you posted, the detail looks superb and I am currently building one myself and would like to detail it like you did with yours. ;)

I JUST USED THE DUPLICOLOR ORANGE LIKE JANTRIX SAID , THEN BLACK WASH IT LIGHTLY.
