Clay Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 This guy is hilarious. He will have you rolling. Jeff Dunham. Just keep searching and watching.
modelguy( jeff) Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 yes he has 3 dvd's out now one is a x-mas dvd with funny stuff on it i have 2 of them can't stop lol
dryvr12 Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 ah, yes. i watched that also. i liked the last letter with walter. where he says "the tooth brush is bigger!" cracked me up...
george 53 Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 That guy with him is Amed, the DEAD terrorist, isn't it? This guy's NUTS!
Clay Posted January 24, 2009 Author Posted January 24, 2009 Ani said she is going to get me all 3 for my Birthday at the end of this month. Can't wait.
Aaronw Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 I love Achmed the Dead Terrorist, Walter is funny too. The DVDs have more stuff on them than the comedy channel shows, so its worth getting the DVDs.
Bernard Kron Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Very funny. He has a nice incisive but light touch. Accchhhhhmed could have been brutal and tasteless but he handles it/him very well. And the Walter mannequin is amazing. It doesn't hurt that Dunham is a heck of a ventriloquist either.
chris coller Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Yeah I gotta agree with you guys. I try to catch his stuff everytime he is on. Thank god for TiVo. Dont forget about Jose Jalepeno.........on a STIIICK!
Rick Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Oh yes, a very funny man! My son has collected almost every dvd and cd he has released. I really like his character "Peanut"! Rick
Terry Sumner Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 I keel you! Best ventriloquist ever! He was here in person at the Mohegan Sun Casino a few months ago and I didn't know about it! I would've loved to see him live! Terry
Scott H. Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 (edited) I have to agree that the DVDs are worth getting! I first saw Jeff perform on Rodney Dangerfield's 9th annual young comedian show and had forgotten about him until I saw the X-Mas special. I went out and bought the Spark of Insanity DVD the next week and laughed all the way through it. Jeff also shows how he made his latest dummy on the DVD. It was worth purchasing it just for that alone. The way he and Peanut try to interrupt each other still amazes me with the talent it takes to do the skit, but my favorite character has to be Walter! Although, I don't think he's all that enthralled about owning a Toyota Prius for some reason... That's good, that's good, that's good, that's gooooooooooooooood... Da, da, DAAAAAAAAAAAA! What are you looking at??? Silence! I KEEEL You! On a steek!!! -Scott H. Edited January 27, 2009 by Scott H. AKA Cpt. Bondo
Ken Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 I saw Jeff live about 15 or so years ago. BAck then, he only had Peanut, Walter and Jose. I still laughed till I cried. I have been a fan ever since. The wife doesn't like him though, ventriloquists freak her out...
Clay Posted January 25, 2009 Author Posted January 25, 2009 I was rolling and my wife was rolling, and my poor daughter was trying to eat while we were watching it and she couldnt stay on.
Scott H. Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 Yanno, I just got to wondering something. Why hasn't Taco Bell gotten him to do a commercial for them using Jose Jalapeno? They haven't had a good commercial since they were doing the chihuahua commercials! I know Jose is afraid for his life because of them, but it would be a good commercial! Just thinking out loud, -Scott H.

Just thinking out loud, -Scott H. Taco Bell caught a lot of flak over the Chihuahua, they probably don't want to take any chances with another "hispanic" character. Much safer to have bland commercials, besides I'm not really sure what the point of fast food commercials are anyway. You are hungry you stop and eat, I'm pretty sure by the time we can drive most of us have decided on our preferred fast food stops. I never see In and Out commercials and they seem to do just fine.
LoneWolf15 Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 I was rolling and my wife was rolling, and my poor daughter was trying to eat while we were watching it and she couldnt stay on. Clay , Now that is really hysterical ! The Old Man
B-dub Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Yeah he is really great to watch. I have seen all 3 and have watched a lot on youtube and I relly enjoy his skits. I even watched one of them earlier with my gf and parents and we were all rolling .. it defiantly has a decent "replay" value, I laugh everytime.
Pete J. Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 (edited) I saw him when he was here in November. Absolutely killer! Achmed is great but I love Walter. His wit just kills me. We were at an Indian gaming casino and he opened the show by looking at some one in the audience and asking "Are you and Indian?" Then "What kind of Indian?" Of course Jeff said " What kind of question is that?" Walters response -- " Are you a woo, woo, woo Indian or a 'Thank you for calling customer service' Indian." That one didn't make you-tube. If you would like some more - Jeff's opener is a guitar player comedian who is just as funny. You saw part of him on the Christmas special with "Jingle Bombs". Just search for "Guitar guy" He has some mad licks on the guitar and is very funny. Pete Edited January 26, 2009 by Pete J.
Mike Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 My favorite is his "Walter" the old man. I remember seeing him when on TV when he was just getting started and had Peanut and the Jalapeno only.
marinewifejones Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 He is going to be in my hometown of Gainesville,fl in March so I asked my dad if he and my mom would watch the kids if we came down and he said no cause he wants to go also and so does my mom who doesnt like stand up so if we can go down there I will have to hit up one of my friends.
evilone Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 This guy makes me cry from laughing so much.I like the x-mas song by achmed i cant stop watching that one. Also i think its on the first DVD when the guy goes to the rest room and walter stops the show that is funny as heck as well. Two thumbs up for him.
Cornpatch Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 He's coming to Iowa in February, and my kid just bought 2 tickets for the show last night. I asked him if one was for me, he said h#*& no your not near as pretty as the girl I am taking. Guess if the wife and I go we will have to get our own tickets. One good thing, I guess is that the kid didn't ask me for the money to get his tickets. Dunham is a funny funny man, the kid has all of his DVD's and his Christmas CD, so I guess I will just pop one of them in and watch it, Since I am cheap, it will save me the 100.00 for the 2 tickets. Jeff
george 53 Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 That ain't cheep Jeff, That's jus bein frugal!
Dragon7665 Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Gawd I remember watching Jeff back when he first started out!! Walter and Peanut would give me the creeps when I was younger, but it was always Funnier than Heck!!! I had a couple of Buddies that did Open Mike Night Stand Up Comedy, and they eventually became regulars at alot of the Local Clubs..... I was Lucky enough to meet Quite a Few Local and Big Name Comedians...... At the end of the Night, My Buddies, the Majority of the Comedians, and I would go out for drinks or dinner afterwards..... Was always a Blast Drinking and Chatting with them..... Lucked out and got to hang out with Jeff,Kermet Apio, along with a few other Great Comedians on several occasions......
Billy Kingsley Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 He's one of less then a hand full of comedians I actually find funny. (another is Carrot Top). Good stuff, all around.
