As a show rod lover and with "the weirder is better" thinking, this is cool. By now everyone has pretty much said it all. So ditto on the comments. I've overlooked this kit many times with the thought it's just too silly. Dave, you've changed that foolish thought to a "I've gotta have  one." Nice work! and thanks for convincing me I was wrong!

Thank you so much @A modeler named mike I'm glad I was able to change your opinion of the kit.

Your the Daddy! cool build.

Thank you very much @Tyreman.

People can say what they want regarding "zombie threads" and "necro-posts" but it's a nice feeling when these old builds can grab someone's attention again.

Thanks for that,

David G.

I have 2 of these and will get one done one day. Yours came out really good. Any fit or warp issues?

Thank you Ken. No fit issues that I can remember other than the headers, those were a little tricky. As I recall, I kind of "faked" 'em in there if you know what I mean.

Thanks for sharing that build! it takes me back to the good ol' days 50+ years ago, when I built that in my youth, (My brother had the 'Creepy T' with the glow-in-the-dark skull, which inspired me to use glow-in-the-dark paint on the mummy). They put alot of thought in the ancient egypt/ mummy theme for the details on that car~

Thanks @VanGoGo, I'm glad to know you enjoyed it. There were a number of these themed show rods, but the Mummy Machine was my favorite of the set. I think my brother had the werewolf.

BTW I have a build thread for this if you're interested.

Thanks again for the kind comment.
