gwizlo89
What are some tips and tricks people use to make piping for intercooler? I tried using heated styrene but it always deforms. Any suggestions?
Ace-Garageguy
Are you trying to use styrene tube? You'll have much better luck with rod.
Ace-Garageguy
People also use solder, or heavy gauge copper wire, but the diameter of those is usually too small for 1/25-1/24. NOBLNG
Or stick some soft wire inside the tubing.
gwizlo89
I'll try the wire method, when I used styrene rod, it tends to cool way to fast and repeated heating causes the material to flatten in some portions. Thanks for the input!
NOBLNG
If you touch a sharp bend with any solvent cement, it will instantly crack unless you heat it to take the stress out.
