I would still be interested in a trade for the boat and trailer. The cowling you mention, is that for the engine or the area between the driver's seating area and the stern and engine mounting area?

This one.  I guess it is actually the canopy.  It has been in the box for two moves.  One from Washington State to Chicago area and then back.  The motor one is on the lower tree in the third photo.  If still interested, PM me.  Thanks

Here is 1 I built. I did enjoy building the model.

Dave, that's very nice, thanks for posting! I like the shape of these boats.

I have the Yamaha version if you would like a copy of the instructions

Harry, thanks for the kind offer. Yes please! I'm still very interested in these F1 boats.

Just noticed in the picture of the cockpit there are seatbelts molded in the seat. Not sure I would want to be strapped in if this thing got upside down at 100+ mph. Then again getting ejected would not be a really good alternative either, that water can be like concrete if you hit it wrong.

Not sure about the Formula One Boats, but any of the faster Drag Boats have required a drivers capsule in case of the boat flipping. I would think that these would as well, but again I don't know that. Would depend on the sanctioning body and their safety requirements.

Boxes are open, but sealed inside.  I'd like to keep them that way. but here are the instructions. I will also post the Hemi hydro/ ski boat and pics of the boxes

Harry, many thanks for the scans of the instructions! I compared them to the instructions of the closed cockpit version, and the kits only differ in their clear parts. I thought the 'superstructure' (for lack of a better word) would be different, but they are the same.

No problem that you couldn't photograph the parts, I wouldn't have opened the bags either ?
