Ok, so time to show what I have done so fare on the moodel. There was some flash and spots on the body, no bigger problems. Tried to get up the interior but it was not easy. More easy was it to get up the back bumper for to eleminate the gaps to the body. I now the motor is wrong, but I don't care as I shall not have the model at any competition, but it looks quite ok. Had to glue a suport to the left side of the bonnet for to get it up in line with the body.

The build goes on. The floor pan insert did so the chassis got down at the front so I glued it on between the chassis rails, on the film I saw the man did not glue it on. Most of the parts are now on the chassis. Glued a front panel and had to hold the body straight when it dried. At the moment I am painting parts. The instructios is not easy.

It looks like you had some success getting things straightened and aligned. Hopefully that will be the worst of it and you can get on with the fun parts of the build.

So was the motor ready and installed. Next be to paint parts under it and think out how I shall get on the wheels back right.
