Modelcarjedi Posted October 3, 2022 Posted October 3, 2022 First try at printing a body on my Ender 3 v2 printer. It’s kinda rough in a few spots but that’s ok. I’m not sure where this project is going but it’s going ?? 2
Kenmojr Posted October 3, 2022 Posted October 3, 2022 Looking forward to more on this exciting build.... 1
Modelcarjedi Posted October 5, 2022 Author Posted October 5, 2022 Ironed out my wheel and tire combo. My hood didn’t fit so I made some adjustments. enjoy! 1
beeRS Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 Wow. I am clueless about 3D printing, but it looks like a lot of modelling skill is still involved in a project like this. This is looking great??. What is the material that is being used? Is it the same as working with polystyrene?

It’s easy the print with and the bodies are sturdy. Great for when you drop them ? 1
Modelcarjedi Posted October 22, 2022 Author Posted October 22, 2022 I haven’t done much on my Merc lately. I printed a nice flathead to use for mocking it up.
geemoney Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 love the whole thing... that flathead is WILD, is it 1/16 as well?
Mr. Metallic Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 That chop is sick! Just curious why you didn't chop it digitally before printing?
