PayPal question

How does one go about getting a refund from a deadbeat resin Dealer. I made the payment through PayPal a few months ago.

Log in to your PP account.

Click on "Help" at the top of the screen.

Go to the bottom of the page you get sent to and click "Resolution Center".

You'll get a page that says "Report a Problem".

Write it up and follow the prompts.

Couldn't find the transaction on the site. They have a number to call but I just missed the cutoff time. I'll try tomorrow.

It can be a PITA, but so far, they've never let me down.

there is a limit on how long you can put in a complaint. hopefully you havent missed it. i thought it was 45 days

Hey Mike,sorry to bother u so early.I tried to PM u,but it said your inbox is full.Anyway,I was just wondering if the resin company you were referring to was Reliable Resin.If it is RR,it might be really difficult to get a refund from them.I was just curious.

I understood the time to get you money back was a year.

Ok,i gotcha.Well good luck on trying to get your refund.I hate when companies take advantage of people by taking their money,and not sending out their order.Were you able to reach Pay Pal?I guess i won’t order anything from Motor City resin.

Haven't tried again yet. I did get a bill from PayPal that included like $14 for shipping and handling. About a month ago when I sent an email directly to Motor City resin, Jeff sent me an email back apologizing, saying he was suffering from a bad back and would send one out ASAP. This was over a month ago. Since then, more radio silence.

Just curious,have you ever ordered from them in the past,and had this issue?Or is this your first time trying to order from them?Again,it sucks that you have to go through this.Just some advice,keep on texting,calling,or emailing them until you either get your order,or you get a refund.And screw it,don’t worry about being a pest..

I saw on 2 other threads where people were building the resin kit ('73 El Camino) and had an idea of building a 4x4 one. This was the first time I ordered anything from them, but I saw that others had gotten theirs, so I went ahead. Turns out that was a big mistake. On yet another thread, I heard some similar complaints. I even told the guy to take down his website if he had no intention of shipping stuff out that people already paid for. More radio silence. I could have flushed $76 down the toilet and saved myself some grief. ?

Heh.. sounds like those crooks that ran Internet Hobbies and under other online hobby store names. I got screwed out of $40 yet, I’ll never ever will see the refund.

And just think...if you'd had an internet-connected toilet and the app, you could have done it from France.
