I wanted to use the original issue custom cat's eye front end for awhile, also wanted a continental kit and an upgraded custom interior as well. Power will be an Ardun flathead, so no lead sled here! Rear fenders were extended and the continental tire holder molded in. The hood was modified for more of a bull nosed look. The seat inserts were cut from several seats I had on hand with no particular plans for- until inspiration struck! The suspension is lowered, and both fishtail pipes and side pipes will be used. Rear skirts from a 61 Lincoln Continental will be used. Lots of sanding to do yet before any primer is applied. Final finish will be flat ruby suede.

Looking good. Love the engine and blower combo, the body mods suit this shoe box well. Will follow to be sure not to miss any progress.

Worked on assembling the interior, also did sanding on the rear- more needed! Will seal, then fine sand. Also made adjustments to the engine carbs to actually fit into the engine compartment! Putty seems to need so much sanding and sealing to look really smooth.

Paul, you have blown my mind! I love your custom - all party in the front and business in the back! :) Can't wait to see what else you have in store

Is that blower the one from the AMT 57 Chevy kit? I'm sure it's in several others however, that's the one I've had experience with. The blower drive cover was in the AMT 40 Delivery kit, pretty I've got it somewhere after picking up the 3 classics box set at Walmart many years ago.

That’s a sweet ride Paul! Your body and interior mods blend in well with your colour palette to create a late 50s Kustom that is striking.
Congrats & Cheers Misha

Not quite finished due to paint issues on the hood. Will have to wait for the Great Storm of 2022 to subside- maybe in the 50's by next Thursday! So perhaps paint by New Year!
