I'd rather see the '71 GTX and a new '70 GTX, but the Road Runner will sell very well when it returns.
The Monogram 1971 GTX is widely available.
I, too, would like to see a new 1970 GTX. Additionally, a 1970 Road Runner convertible would be awesome, too.

I thought the '73-'74 looked better.
I quite like the 1973-1974 Plymouth B-bodies as well. One of my favourite design aspects of the '73-'74 is the unusual colour combinations available -- bright red stripes over light blue paint is really far out!

They're just an ugly car, no one likes them. ?

It's the revenge of Virgil Exner!

Plus they didn't have much time to be ugly; as soon as you drove one through a snow storm in the northeast, the entire body rotted right off the frame!

It will come back since so many like the design or wish they had bought one previously.  I'd rather see the '71 GTX and a new '70 GTX, but the Road Runner will sell very well when it returns.  I thought the '73-'74 looked better.

I'm partial to the '71/72 but if you pressed me against a wall, I'd say the '73/74 was a better stylistic balance.

You can't please everyone, but it anyone really going to seriously maintain that something like the Golden Commando was chosen for its great beauty?

To me anyway, the Loop Bumper '71/72 has it all over the '73/74 Cars. The earlier cars are just smoother and sleeker without all the Rococo Detail that are dotted all over the later cars. The '73/74 are just too "busy" designwise to my eye.

But, that is just my opinion.

I think what made the '72 the best looking of all of was the rear bumper and tail lights.  I spent many a childhood day marveling/staring at that big rear bumper parked in my parents' garage.  I remember the designer of those fuselage cars (forget his name) said their biggest mistake with the '71 was not integrating the rear bumper properly with the grill.  They fixed it in '72 and added the front insert to distinguish it from the Satellite.

Plus, that '72 rear bumper always had this "take your chances" look to it on the road.  Sort of saying, "You want to race me?  Go ahead and try it..."
