Hi

my daughter wanted me to build a westfalia for her. She chose the color. Thanks to a recent article in the magazine, i used a couple of tricks from it: i used a stocking for the pop up top, i did the curtains and the way to paint the wood for the interior parts. I’m really happy with it and my daughter loves it. Thanks for looking

Nice job Eric! I like what you did with the stocking material on the pop top. The wood floor is a nice touch also. Looks nice in that yellow. I'm still trying to figure out what I will use for the curtains on mine. My original Westfalia was orange, so it had the orange curtains. I did get my Bat Signal decal for the spare tire cover though.

I didnt read the article but am I to understand that the up top material is a ladies stocking?

Brilliant! And your execution is what sells it. And it is in scale to my eyes. The rest is equally as nice. Just all around greatness here.

Well done Sir....

Wow. Great job Eric. The stocking works well and that interior looks spot on. Your daughter has good taste as the colour gives it a bright and happy outlook, exactly what you want with something fun like a camper.

Cheers, David ??
