Scott8950 Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 I Recently sold my black 87 and bought this white 87 model, the white car has the G92 performance axle package and the z51 handling package. Big difference in how much better the white car runs. 3

I am BMW , Ferrari, Ford GT and Corvette certified to work on the bodywork of these cars. The corvette is by far a great car. Especially for the price. America is great for making great things for the masses. You guys would be very surprised to see what the other expensive cars are made of. I call them expensive Tupperware. Enjoy your fantastic car!!! By the way I have a c6 that has 45,000 miles for $24,000. Same color as yours. Good job sir! There is a book out “All corvettes are red” about the guys and girls that make the corvette. You might like it. There was a meeting on the corvette to determine what colors they’re supposed to be. It was taking a very long time as they were arguing about it. Finally after a very long time the director said “ what’s taking so long?” The committee said they could not decide. The director said “ All corvettes are red and the rest are mistakes, let’s get on with it!” Still remember that quote to this day. So I agree with you on color. Here is mine 2

I finally did manage to scrape together some resources for a nice '93 Corvette. There is a strong following and support for these cars. Being a high number production Corvette makes it affordable, and it has some truly exotic features. When this car was new I was raising a family and it's $32K sticker was way out of my league. But now the cost for a decent C4 is 1/3 of that, or less. This car has 90K well cared for, locally owned miles. The LT-1 V-8 runs strong, gets 25 mpg at 75 mph, and is fast enough for this old guy. I've replaced the usual age related wear items and buffed the Torch Red paint. I'm proud to own an American automotive icon. 2 1
