Hey everyone quick question ,,,,,,with the majority of our parts being so small what size supports have you been using,,, so far a lot of my parts seem to be braking somewhere a little after the the raft and maybe about 3/4 of inch into print ,im useing the stock settings for the printer and useing the small supports since parts are small? (phrozen mini 4k) and useing there 8k resin,,,,it prints the sample that came with printer PERFECT so could it be my supports ,,,,still learning the slicer program ,,,,,,,which is chitubox,,,,,and can a part still print if it has islands ,,,, i tryed to locate islands but cant find them when i manuavere the image all around

I am using the same printer as you are and I almost never use the small support size. Just too fragile.   I almost always use the medium size.  I use the small only for things like individual bolts, spark plugs, etc.  make sure your Z axis is adjusted.   I finally figured out that when adjusting the print platform you need to not only put downward pressure on the platform itself but also put some upward pressure on the lifting bracket when you tighten the screws.  The piece of paper you use between the build platform and the screen should be hard to pull out without ripping when the adjustment screws are tight.

I agree, I've never had much luck with using the small supports. I use medium.

Also, just like Ford vs. Chevy, everyone likes different things, I prefer Lychee as my slicer. It feels more user friendly.

You can change all the settings for your supports within Chitubox. I use heavy support on everything but I've modified my settings for what I need since my parts are larger in nature than 25th scale. (16th up to 1/8) If it's breaking at the main portion of the support then increase the diameter of it. Also exposure time plays a part in this. You can also move the part on a differnent part of the plate and see if it'll print there, which usually indicate a FEP problem.

I've tried a few different settings in Chitubox. The medium supports seem to be the easiest for me. I can check tonight and see what the exact settings are.

You also have to be aware of part thickness if you're scaling things down to your preferred scale. I've run into that a few times. Things designed for 1/10 don't necessarily work when converted to 1/24.
