Calb56 Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 (edited) Edelbrock 4 Stromberg intake Flathead bell housing adapter for GM Manual Or a toploader Or a Flathead intake for a 4bbl Edited January 27, 2023 by Calb56 1
Fat Brian Posted January 28, 2023 Posted January 28, 2023 A good suicide front end A crab style flathead distributor Over frame flathead headers Dual plug flathead heads 3
Calb56 Posted January 28, 2023 Author Posted January 28, 2023 (edited) Norm has a great crab-style distributor, bit I'm surprised he's the only one. I'd love a detailed suicide front... Edited January 28, 2023 by Calb56
Paul Payne Posted January 28, 2023 Posted January 28, 2023 Carb linkages, shifter linkages, banjo steering wheels, all the fiddly bits that seniors like me have more and more difficulty with!

Texas_3D_Customs Posted January 28, 2023 Posted January 28, 2023 I can make some of those but they would be fitted to my flathead

Calb56 Posted January 28, 2023 Author Posted January 28, 2023 Never seen a dual carb intake for a Flathead like this...

Calb56 Posted January 28, 2023 Author Posted January 28, 2023 Charles already prints this and I still need to order a couple. The Winter grill is perfect but I was wondering if you ever thought of printing an open shell for/with it so we can see the radiator and not just blank styrene?
Fat Brian Posted January 29, 2023 Posted January 29, 2023 Smooth face big and little Halibrands to fit the tires in the Revell 29/30 kits. And maybe some pie crust cheater slicks for them. 1
LDO Posted January 29, 2023 Posted January 29, 2023 This intake manifold and supercharger for a Mercedes-Benz M119 DOHC V-8. And a good M119, also. That engine is built by Stern Garage in Germany. They don’t sell the manifold by itself, just a complete engine for US $25k

And wow am I excited about a model of the M119. I really wish I could get a look at that manifold. It makes me wonder about cutting up the upper half of the factory manifold to get a supercharger manifold. Making one like in the pic could eliminate the heat soak issue with a supercharger between cylinder banks. Edited January 29, 2023 by LDO

I am going to be honest, I don't know enough about that engine much less any Mercedes engine other than the train wreck of the OM642 that I had.
JessicaMartin Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 The OM642 engine you had might have had issues, but not all Mercedes engines are the same. It's okay to not have knowledge about every engine, it's a big topic.
