junkyardjeff Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 Look at this chassis that was on it and making a 58 Edsel frame fit,has custom rear bumper that eventually get removed and will not be perfect but anything is better then how it arrived. 2
junkyardjeff Posted February 4, 2023 Author Posted February 4, 2023 I think the top has been slightly chopped in the front and will have to fix that when I find the windows.
junkyardjeff Posted February 4, 2023 Author Posted February 4, 2023 Would this have been a promo but the custom rear bumper was made to fit so it possibly had optional custom parts.
espo Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 Interesting how the original builder did the suspension. Might have been his way of getting the model to sit lower.
junkyardjeff Posted February 5, 2023 Author Posted February 5, 2023 It got a engine and it's a Y block and a 3 speed, years ago I seen a rough 61 Starliner at a all Ford swap meet with a six and if I had a six this one would have gotten one. No need to finish the top of the engine on this one. 1
junkyardjeff Posted February 5, 2023 Author Posted February 5, 2023 Getting there, going to do a little detailing and it will be done until I can find glass that will fit. 3
junkyardjeff Posted March 12, 2023 Author Posted March 12, 2023 Found a nicer body today that is not chopped. 1

Greg Rogers Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 This reminds me of my Dad's favorite ax. It had the handle replaced twice and the head replaced once! Coming along great! I just had to be a smart a**!!
