Way better than the Foose Goose real car. Very radical but Fabulous! Kar Kraft in Brighton, Mi  ( they built the Boss 429 Mustangs for FoMoco )built one prototype 1969 Boss 429 rear engine car. So, this could have been possible! I like it!

Hi Paul!

Thank you for the comments. Indeed, Ford toyed with a Mach2 concept, and also tested the KK 429 Boss you mention, but their engineers concluded that the effects on the overall handling of the car were not "worth the cost", in light of the very low volume expected. But we can dream...

I love the exterior (and color), the interior is beautiful, the engine compartment is fascinating, and even underneath is a work of art. What a stunner!

Thank you Emde!

Stunning build,Claude! Great concept and well chosen colour and wheel combo! The mesh grille gives it a mean look!

Thank you so much, Oliver!

Well done Claude! The fit of the engine looks great. Just some of the details that I really like are the Louver hatch as the "hood" that lets all that warm air out, the fact that the seat backs are in line with the door line (not looking pushed forward), the slight rake that takes care of the inherent uphill stance of this year mustang, (oh and the fact that you used that body style and made it flow quite nicely, and finally - the windshield washer nozzles. Who thinks of those! Excellent!

Another winner.

Scott

Hi Scott!

Thank you for the compliments.

You are right about the "nose-high" stance of the stock kit (and 1/1 car)... In this case, I lowered the front spindles about 2 mm, and the rolling stock combo sizes also helped to put a barely perceptible rake. Almost horizontal. Now, not to contradict you, but the two chrome dots on the cowl are the "studs" for the wiper arms. I chose to dispense of those, for aesthetic reasons... and put chrome caps over them, as many rod owners do.

Claude strikes again!  This could be the headline of the day and those to come!

I don't know where you find your inspirations and your ideas, but the designers of all these cars will eventually get tired of seeing their designs improve and say to themselves why I didn't think of it before?

You're setting me up for a long day of talking next week and I don't think I'll be the only one asking for details on your fantastic offerings my friend!

Great Claude at its best!!!

Hi Francis!

I'm a bit late, but thanks for the comments. Coming from a Master, they are much appreciated!

Well Claude. You've done it again. Very imaginative engineering, amazing attention to detail, and flawless execution. I'd be very happy just to curl up and take a nap in the frunk.

Don't know how I missed this one.  That sir is a masterful piece of creativity. Overall excellent build and the paint is exceptional. Very nicely done.

Hi Steve!

Well, the carpeted floor of the frunk might be comfortable, indeed! Thanks for the compliments, happy you like it. It kind of reconciled me with the 71 "big" Mustang, ultimately. Go figure...

Hello Claude, the more I look at this car the more amazed I am. I had quite a few mustangs and although the 71 is not my favorite I still had two of them. They are a great GT car. Very comfortable with some power. Your car is what ford should have done. Very cool model with great engineering prowess. Super job sir , just had to look again. Fantastic!
