This was a fun and nostalgic build, had to drag out the album to refresh the old mind on some details, which was like taking a vacation.  Hope you enjoy looking at it as much as I did building it. Comments welcome.

I'll post a couple of pics of the original 1:1 tomorrow. Thanks for looking.

Remember those days well, PV4 (Pickups, Vans & 4WD) Truckin' both covered the scene very well.  Very well built and represents the time frame, nice details throughout. I know you did a WIP, I need to know how you did the sliding door.

Like the theme and the paint color and finish. Great looking interior layout. Sure had some good times in these vans.

Thank you, glad you like it.  Yes I had many good times in it, too.

Very nice! Like the green and gold, and the painted wheels.???

Thanks for letting me know you like it, painting the wheels on the 1:1 was easy compared to doing them in scale.

Happy to stir up good memories, appreciate your comments. Did you want additional pics or more explanation on the sliding door? I'll gladly send you an email either way. Thanks for looking and your interest.

Here's some pictures from my scrapbook of the original 1:1 that I had back in the day.  These were taken in 1980 on my way to Germany.
