bitner Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 I've posted this particular tractor before, but I finally got around to adding the trailer to it.
SpreadAxle Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 The trailer really sets this tractor off. Nice job.
bitner Posted February 16, 2009 Author Posted February 16, 2009 Thanks guys, the truck looks a lot better with the trailer. I just wish the decals would have worked a little better on the side of the trailer.
Ben Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 It really looks great!!!!!!!!!! To solve the slight transparency issue of the decals, find another set and place them directly over the one that are on the trailer. This will make them more opaque.
87 Grand Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 Fantastic pair you got there. I love that trailer. Great job on this build. Both of them. Somehow I missed, what brand is the trailer?
bitner Posted February 17, 2009 Author Posted February 17, 2009 87Grand: The trailer is the old AMT Trailmobile moving van.
ModelsR4me Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Bitner, Wow, that looks great! I've got to ask, is that model RR benchwork I see in the photo? J.C.
bitner Posted February 18, 2009 Author Posted February 18, 2009 Hi J.C.: Yeah, that's my other hobby. It's the Northern Pacific Railroad in Tacoma Washington about 1960 in N scale. It's still under construction, no scenery but almost all track is in and running.
chuckyr Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Excellent model. Correct trailer for the year of the tractor. You are one of the few that includes the trailer hook-ups.
The Modeling Hermit Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 That's one cool looking Dodge. Nice build.
Old Albion Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 Bill, Great looking rig the trailer really sets it off. Best Wishes dave
kilrathy10 Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 This is a really cool setup....I really like the tractor....The trailer is done well, too....Amazing how those colors really pop out.....Something you won't see very often, today.....This old truck and trailer shiny and new, that is.....Excellent work....
