Beautiful work Claude !  I never would have thought about swapping the roofs but you're correct , it does work !

Thank you Bob! Another great idea from the mind of designer Steve Stanford!

Stunning! Beautiful concept brought into 3D with great results. The *bottom* of this is cleaner than the tops of some of mine! ?

Thank you Matthew!

Very nice! Did you use the entire rear half of the 71 because I noticed it still has the 71 tail light. Very cool build.

Hi Andy! Yes, the windshield & pillars, roof, rear deck and bumper/tailight. Almost a shoe-in!

Awesome build with a perfect stance.

What is the source of those terrific wheels?

Hi Jim!

Thank you. Alas, I bought those in a Ziplock, used, from a parts seller at a recent show. But judging from the axle stem, I'd be inclined to say that they come from a Maisto diecast...

Claude....great concept and execution.  I've been watching for a '67 T-Bird kit myself as I wanted to do a pro-touring execution.  Yours goes way beyond my idea, however.  Particularly impressed with the IRS and the engine.  Lovin' it!   Cheers....TIM

Hi Tim!

Thank you for the comments. You are right: the annual kits are very rare, and the Allison in Wonderland "funny car" was the last ditch solution for me. I was surprised, since the kit offered a choice of grilles (stock or custom), and front bumper or roll pan. More than I expected.

If you ever need a pristine 67 roof and glass, just let me know: I have one to spare!

Thank you Bruce! Well, I don't know about such dispositions, but I'm certainly having fun!

That is not a model kit. It is an engineering masterpiece! Absolutely flawless!

Hi Jeff!

Thanks for the superlatives. A bit much... but appreciated!
