I have a friend who frequents thrift stores and over the last year he has found me over 30 built models from the 60s and with the guy at work giving me some too I will have a lifetime supply of restoration projects, other friends have been giving me the models they have or find so the only money the hobby shops will be getting from me is will be for paint and other supplies.  I never thought I would have so many of the older models and I do love doing restorations so I know what I will be doing for years to come.

Most of the builds I've done extensive WIP threads on here have been salvaged gluebombs, or literally someone's trash.

For $50 I filled a Ranger pickup bed with boxes of glue bombs from a collectibles garage sale. Lots of garbage but a bashers paradise. Most enjoyable and long lasting  $50 I ever spent.

Never in my dreams would have thought I would have ended up with all the 60s stuff I picked up over the last year, would liked to know where all this stuff came from before it hit the thrift store.
