bobthehobbyguy Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 For those who attended gsl. It's was mentioned Randy Derr took best in show 2023. Does that make him a 4 or 5 best in show winner. He won one with his 1/12th Cameron, a 1/25th scale Camaro, and his 1/12 th scale dirt car. And then this year's corvette. Are there any others. Who else has won multiple gsl best in shows.
peter31a Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 I believe Mark Jones has won more than once. I think he’s won at least twice for different Lotus/Caterham builds. But I stand to be corrected.
absmiami Posted May 11, 2023 Posted May 11, 2023 My late friend Augie Hiscano won twice- this is his winning Ford Vicki - on display at the Museum - (or was it three times ?) .. and yes - Jones is a multi time winner - and the Lola is as good in the flesh as it was on my phone these past two years - i know there is mutual respect tween scale master and randy derr - it would be cool to see randy do a video on the Lola and Mark do a video on the Corvette …

absmiami Posted May 11, 2023 Posted May 11, 2023 no actually I think I got it rightwards ... It would be great to get Mark's analysis of the Vette - and - Randy's analysis of the Lola . Really ....
sfhess Posted May 12, 2023 Posted May 12, 2023 Oh I see. Yes, that would be interesting. I have a photo of the two of them discussing something near where their respective cars were on display.
