François Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 Hello, my name is François, I'm an almost 60 frenchy from Québec. Back in the 70's and 80's, I used to do a lot on models, cars, trucks, formula... At 21, I decided to try my hand at a wooden boat. It went great until I meet my wife 6 months later(we are still married!)but lets say that the boat building wasn't my priority anymore. I set it aside for 38 years!! I finally finished it last july. Since then, I did a WW1 1/16 scale plane, a fully scratch built 1/16 scale sail boat( a reproduction of a 24 footer that I actually built for a friend in 2012), and a 1/8 scale scratch built wooden kayak. Why am I interested in a car model forum you might ask? Well after the kayak, I decided to a build 1/12 scale Bentley blower. And after some Web searching, stumbled on a wip of one of your members, John Teresi, of a blower build. I was pretty impressed with the reasult. But before starting a somewhat complex projet as the blower (a lot of modifications/details to add) and since it had been many years since my last plastic car model, I decided to try my hand at the Italeri 1/12 scale Alfa Romeo 8c 2300. It's now done am I'm now starting the bentley. Well that's it for my winded intro. Where should I post my build log for this project, any particular section? Can I add links to the photo galeries of my different projects ? If so, where? Thank you
