Some of you might have known Ron, some of you maybe are goint to hear about it for the first time. Ron for different years was the president of the Scale Auto Builders Association, club here in Portland, Oregon. Last August he passed away. Ron's was a funny person to be around, never complained about major stuff, above all what tlife trow at him in the last years. Alwas move on and build models. Ron will be missed. All his models and parts were sold, the built models via silent auction during the Model Fest contest and show. The parts and unbuilt kits were sold in late September. All the money were given bact to Ron's family.

I was able to acquire few things, and between those things there was this Aoshima Subaru Legaci in 1/24 scale. I gave him this kit back in 2016, a that time he was driving a Subaru Legacy, the red one on the cover photo. I toke that photo when he was leaving a car show in North Portland. He liked to go to car show to display his model cars. Ron start to work on this kit, but never get arount to complete it. One time his excuse was that the instruction where in Japanese... I told him, well is a Japanese car... LOL!
Well now it is time to build Ron's wagon, I think he will be happy and a great way to remember him.

I start to work on the interior, the dashboard was swapped with one with the steering wheel on the left side.

Great tribute Brizio. I didn't know him very well, but won a few of the silent auctions. Missed you at the show earlier in May. I am looking forward to seeing what you do with this kit. I know it will be amazing, no matter what.

I'm sorry for bumping an old thread but where did you get that Left hand drive Dash from? Thanks

No worries. Funny because the other day I was looking a this kit, and going trough all the parts to see what what I still need to do on it. The dashboard came with the kit, altough it looks like it was casted in resin. I bought this kit in 2016 and was brand new, I mean the box was sealed. I open it to add Ron's photo, I also went trough all the parts to check them out. I remember that the dash was inside the box. But I could mistake it from when I got it last a the Ron's auction. When I was looking for buy it in 2016, I saw different Aoshima Legacy kits, some had different parts, wheels and accessories, also they rebox it. Maybe in some they add a LHR dash. The dash looks great, with all the details, and fit perfect.
