M W Elky Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 I got this as a started work in progress the body was already painted and decaled so I don’t have much information on the colors or decal maker. Although I think at one time you could get them from Billy gooche. The kit is the johan Sox & Martin kit with resin cast slotted wheels. Other wise it’s all out of the box. Being that I didn’t have to mess with the body this made for a nice easy build. Until next time thanks for looking ?, Mike 4
bogger44 Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 Very nice! Always liked the looks of Don's cars, wouldn't mind building a couple of 'em myself.
catpack68 Posted June 6, 2023 Posted June 6, 2023 Very nice work!? I’m planning on building Dons’ 70 Cuda with the six-pack type hood scoop sometime later on this year.

If you don’t already have one good luck getting the revell Sox & Martin kit they’re way too pricey for being a pretty current release. I think the decals are available from Billy gooche while I’m not positive I think his daughter still prints them out
1972coronet Posted June 6, 2023 Posted June 6, 2023 Don Grotheer's cars had the BEST paint schemes ; your example exemplifies this ! Lovely build !
Lobo2me Posted June 7, 2023 Posted June 7, 2023 Great job on breathing new life into a classic from the glory days of drasg racing. Well done!

Rattlecan Dan Posted June 7, 2023 Posted June 7, 2023 That's a very nice job. Pretty exact. Thanks for posting.
