How do I remove gloss from a paint job

I accidently used a gloss enamel paint to paint the interior, and it looks terrible gloss. How do I make it matte?

Just spray a coat of dull coat on it.

I do that all the time.

Spray semi-gloss clear or matte clear depending on how much sheen you want.

But don’t use a lacquer.
