OldTrucker
Started this in 1993 and decided to get it done. Decided to do the floor in wood so a dollar pack of popsicle sticks from Dollar General are being used. Picked up cat yellow from Farm & Fleet for it and the cat. Rockford
1993! Wow, that's some stalled project. It spans two centuries. The tree your popsicle sticks are taken from wasn't even planted then. Well done for getting it going again. It will look good with the real wood decking.
OldTrucker
All the wood finally cut and placed for reference. Will paint underside black and weather and maybe scar the boards.
Rockford
Boards look good. I used exactly the same on my 1/32 flatbed. The natural difference between the beards is realistic. I used black duct tape on mine to bind them together, made them easier to handle.
Bill Knobbe aka (obe)
Great start. To me it seems that the "goose neck" should be a bit longer. It looks like if the truck turned, the trailer would hit the rear tires of the tractor.
OldTrucker
Got color on the trailer. Probably take a week to dry though.

Bills72sj
You are well on your way. I used the kit pieces with some ingenuity to bring out the wood grain.
OldTrucker
Got the wood ready to install. Had a dab of flat black enamel and just made a wash with it. Brushed on and wiped off.
Biggu
The boards look great ! All you have to do is split a few and break a few chunks out like the low bed I used to pull, from guys loading Cats and excavators with grousers on the tracks and turning on the deck ! Arrgghh LOL Love what you are doing, can't wait for the next update... Jeff
JamesBC
I liked the looks of the trailer so much ordered me one. Watching your build to pick up hints and tips. Looks good, thanks for posting

Rockford
You might need patience, he might shelve it for another 30 years!
