This was a kit that I built some time ago and didn't like how it turned out so it sat on the bench.  I recently bought an M2 Steel kit of a 1957 Chevy Model 150 and it came with an extra set of wheels & tires and a blown engine.  This was a 1/24 scale kit but looked a little on the big side so I thought I would just use the spare parts on the 55 Cameo to get it off the bench and on the shelf.  It's kind of a goofy build with the oversized wheels & tires and engine. It was painted with Testor's red mixed 50/50 with Mr. Color Leveling Thinner then cleared with Tamiya X-22 Clear.  The only other thing I did was make a distributor and wire the engine.  There is no chassis so it was a quick build.  I think it came out pretty kewl looking.  Give me your thoughts fellows.

Then thought it Does make ya' smile, and that can't be bad.

Gotta agree with that.

"Toon Style" models have their place. They let your creativity flow, are lots of fun to build, and good for your soul. That ear to ear grin you get is a nice bonus.

Can't be serious all the time, variety is the spice of life.

I like it. It has a Jada Big Time Muscle vibe.

Thanks.  It does, doesn't it.

Beautiful looking paint color and finish. The oversized look of wheels and tires plus the engine give it sort of a Tonka Toy look, but in a very good way.

Thanks David.  That's kinda what I was thinking once it all came together.

Great color and finish. Makes me think of the die cast Muscle Machines

Thanks Steve.  I have a lot of little die cast on my shelf and when I was doing a test fit of the wheels & tires and the engine I thought it kinda looked like one of the little Muscle cars.

That sure is a one of a kind chevy. The bright red really shines. Great way to re purpose parts.

Thanks Mario.  I've got a 60 Ranchero I'm looking at to repurpose into a Gasser.
