Tom Daniels Sidewinder.

In a recent E Mail that I got from Atlantis, it listed kits that'll be issued in the fall and among them is the Tom Daniels Sidewinder. In a past thread, I saw a picture of it and before that, I never heard of it so I'm wondering if anybody would have any background information on the kit. I'm almost certain that it comes from the old Monogram tooling especially with the years long association that Tom Daniels had with Monogram.

It was originally the "Horn Toad" kit before the questionable "update".

The Sidewinder isn't bad but I think the Toad is much cooler. I'd guess Atlantis probably wouldn't reverse the changes unfortunately. There's a number of TD kits that were changed for the worse, Rat Vega, Poison Pinto, Sand Shark (formally the Dog Catcher) to name a few.

The roof of Sidewinder is NOT molded to the body. The windshield is what is missing from Sidewinder.....maybe Atlantis has it.......be a cool bonus part!!!
