64SS350 Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 Does anyone still make these, or something similar? I have the plastic nut and bolt heads you cut from the sheet, but I like these with the shank attached to use as actual pins/bolts for extra strength and security. LMK, Thanks
peteski Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 I have those and also plastic ones with similar type of stems. These all come from model railroad hobbies. Look for NBW (Nut-Bolt-Washer) castings. For example https://duckduckgo.com/?t=h_&q=nbw+castings&ia=web
Jiml0001 Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 look for Tichy Train Group nuts and bolts. A crazy amount of sizes to pick from and every nut/bolt/washer combination there is. I got a bunch of different sizes and some were almost too small to see. Good product at a good price
SfanGoch Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 I've posted about MasterClub resin Nuts, Bolts & Rivets before. They are superior to Tichy. Unlike Tichy, MasterClub items are what you would find on cars, armor, ships and aircraft. Sizes range from 0.3-1.8mm, which cover every possible use; and, depending on the type, there are 70-180 pieces per package. You can order them from ARMOR35.ru for only $1.86 per pack. 2
peteski Posted September 19, 2023 Posted September 19, 2023 With the current political climate can we still do business with Russia? Now that I think about it, doesn't Modeler Builders' Warehouse carry their line of products (or something similar)? Website seems to be down temporarily: https://www.modelbuilderswh.com/password
