MPC Jeep CJ-5 Renegade

Hi all, this is my just-completed Round2  reissue of the MPC 1/25th scale Golden Hawk Jeep CJ-5, in Renegade livery. The was built 100% out of box, and painted with Upol Gloss Red acrylic enamel spray paint for the body, which was decanted and airbrushed, and then polished. The rest of parts were painted with Vallejo, Tamiya, AK Interactive, Citadel Game Colors, and craft acrylic paints. Thanks for looking.

Thank you, David! This was originally going to be a box art build (hence the red body, black interior), but the Golden Hawk hood decal was absolutely horrid and wouldn't lay down for nothing. I heard that decal laugh at me when I applied setting solution to it as it didn't help in the least (it made the situation worse, actually). In the end I gave up on the GH decals and went with the Renegade theme instead. The kit decals reminded me of those old-school Monogram decals from the 80's and early 90's in regards to thickness and rigidity. At least the Renegade decals behaved.
