BKIN10SECS Posted October 20, 2023 Posted October 20, 2023 Just a little curbside/slammer. Been well over 20 years since I have built anything, just thought I should walk before I run☺️ A little mix of Bluebird 1600 and Skyline 2000. Please excuse my amateur photos. 5
XYHARRY Posted October 20, 2023 Posted October 20, 2023 Wow, you haven't lost any skills over the years. That looks amazing, well done JR. Looking forward to your next build. Cheers, David. ??
Koellefornia Kid Posted October 20, 2023 Posted October 20, 2023 Great looking little rice cooker! Nice wheels and stance!
BKIN10SECS Posted October 20, 2023 Author Posted October 20, 2023 Thank you Kid, yes wheels and stance is everything in my humble opinion. Those wheels were given to me by a fellow modeler and friend Dirk Joseph many many years ago. He had them machined by someone for his Camaro project. Unfortunately I do not know the name of the person who machined them. Appreciate your response.
karbuildr Posted October 20, 2023 Posted October 20, 2023 Very nice build, low and snazzy. Nothing wrong with your photo skills either, good photography from my point of view.
redscampi Posted October 20, 2023 Posted October 20, 2023 Jay, I agree with you. You can make almost any car look killer with the right stance and rolling stock. This is a beautiful car! Can't wait to see more from you.
BKIN10SECS Posted October 21, 2023 Author Posted October 21, 2023 You are so right Red and Thank you for kind words.
Street Rod Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 Excellent work! Love the wheels and the stance.
BKIN10SECS Posted October 22, 2023 Author Posted October 22, 2023 Thank you Slusher, Thank you Street Rod.
Zippi Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 That's down in the weeds. Great color and I'm diggin the wheels.
BKIN10SECS Posted October 22, 2023 Author Posted October 22, 2023 Thank you Zippi, yes the wheels are a one off custom machined set given to me by my friend and master modeler Dirk Joseph. The body was airbrushed using Mr. Color and it is a Japanese military color called "shallow ocean blue". She was then cleared using Scale Finishes 2K urethane clear. Thanks again.
