Kingslug Posted November 8, 2023 Author Share Posted November 8, 2023 (edited) Getting there with the firewall. The plastic one is wrong..the boards run up and down on the real one. After several tries with different wood I got it with bass wood for the engine side and oak veneer inside. Had to sandwich the plastic part as it has the bung that the bonnets pivot on. This is the real one. Now have to stain and weather them..then run the 2 cross pieces on the footwell side. Had to make the loom tubes from brass as the plastic ones were BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH.
