6bblbird
Sometimes, the simple kits can be a lot of fun. This one was out of the box with the only change being the decals. The kit supplied decals were pretty poor and also lacked the "Hot Wheels" logo due to some licensing deal. I also added plug wires.
Yeah Nah
Looks great Walter. Excellent job. These Hot Wheels builds always bring back fond memories of the actual Hot Wheels cars I had as a kid. Got the 'Mongoose And Snake' funny car set one Christmas. Best Christmas ever!! M W Elky
That’s a really nice looking slingshot dragster I have a couple of these in my stash. May I ask what paint color did you use?
Phirewriter
Excellent build! I know it's not the most accurate, missing major details, etc... but I also collect redline Hot Wheels so I have a soft spot for this kit. Where did you source the decals? Zippi
Pretty nice looking Dragster. Yup, box stock can sometimes settle the nerves from an intense build.

I got those decals a long time ago. Pretty sure they were Slixx but are out of production. You might try to contact Slixx to see if they have any spares. 6bblbird
One thing that I forgot to mention about this kit. The body is seamed down the middle. Be prepared to do a lot of gluing, sanding and filing because the two halves don't line up all that well.
TonyK
Very nice looking model! The driver adds a lot to it.
Brandon17
Very nicely done! See this kit on eBay occasionally and need to pull the trigger on one.
bytownshaker
Nice looking build !!! Prudhomme's similar version of this car was the last front engine AA/FD dragster to win a NHRA event. I was at the 1972 Molson Grandnational event when Art Marshall won the event with the outdated car.

I'm sure I was there but I don't remember that car . Fifty years can do that! 😐
