Hey guys. Thanks for checking on me. I am doing okay. About two years ago, I really got burned out on modeling, so I packed up the workbench and tossed everything on a shelf. The farm always needs attention and I picked up another hobby.

I started doing a little writing. Fictional short stories. And I've fallen in with a real good supportive group of hobbyists, much like I had here, and the change has been extremely cathartic.

Just recently, I have unpacked the workbench and I have grabbed out a WIP and I'm back at it. But in a very 'when I'm in the mood' kinda way. I think my competitive modeling days are behind me and I'll just be building models to shelf specs. I was able to get to a GSL before Covid hit and I was happy to win an award. So that bucket list item has been accomplished and have all the trophies and plagues I have room for.

But, modeling is in my blood and I will always be back. I'll be seeing you around.

Good to hear from you Rob! I've been straying a bit myself but doing bits at a time. I've reorganized my workshop to make it easier to get reengaged.
