Chuck Most Posted March 23, 2024 Author Posted March 23, 2024 Minor update on the '53 F100. It now has a frame for the future flat bed, and some mudflaps. Everything here will be grimed up by the end. 1
mchook Posted March 24, 2024 Posted March 24, 2024 Here's one I did long ago that is literally "Power by Ford" A Model A Ford power unit. 5

I've actually seen one of those in action, powering a buzz saw. It was easily the third or fourth most terrifying thing I've ever seen. ? And one of the coolest. 1

We had one that dad cut firewood with, the neighbor had one mounted on the back of an old 39 Chevy. My father is rebuilding a Model T one right now. They definitely look terrifying by today's standards, you definitely want to be careful and not get distracted when it's going. I can still hear dad saying, NO LOOSE CLOTHING, BUTTON YOUR SLEEVES & TUCK IN YOUR SHIRT! 1
Chuck Most Posted April 1, 2024 Author Posted April 1, 2024 Started messing with the stake bed. The sides are sections from some Plastruct fencing. Not sure yet if I'm going with a wood or diamond plate floor. 3
Chuck Most Posted April 6, 2024 Author Posted April 6, 2024 I think I mostly have the F100 flat bed dialed in. I also made up a bumper and used Jeep fog lights as taillights. The bed planks are actual strips of craft basswood. 3
Chuck Most Posted April 6, 2024 Author Posted April 6, 2024 Next time you see the '53 it'll be in Light Commercial Under Glass. ?
rattle can man Posted June 21, 2024 Posted June 21, 2024 I'll eventually jump in with a Ford in a Chevy. Maybe a Vette. 2
Chuck Most Posted July 22, 2024 Author Posted July 22, 2024 Dug out another 4.6 Cobra V8. Not sure what it's going into but it's going into something...
mchook Posted July 25, 2024 Posted July 25, 2024 Here's my Model A Ford powered trike I'm working on. 3
Chuck Most Posted July 28, 2024 Author Posted July 28, 2024 It's getting there. I'm split as to whether or not I want to run a hood. I suppose I could just photograph it both ways once it's done. ? 1
rattle can man Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 I found my subject. now to get to work. hopefully an easy, post-surgery build. 4

Chuck Most Posted August 15, 2024 Author Posted August 15, 2024 Dug out a project that stalled out some time back. '55 Chevrolet 3100 with front and rear axles from a '72 Jimmy. Since I had a 351 Windsor I ended up not using in another project, I figured now's the time. 2
Chuck Most Posted August 17, 2024 Author Posted August 17, 2024 The Windsor is pretty nicely settled into the '55. I also put some Ford V8 emblems on the fenders, from the AMT Sunoco '34 Ford kit. 2
