ranma Posted January 10, 2024 Posted January 10, 2024 (edited) Ford U.S Mail truck/Trailer had the wheels. Edited January 11, 2024 by ranma
trick my mixer Posted January 11, 2024 Posted January 11, 2024 Hey, Are you referring to a set of Alcoas for your trailer.?
ranma Posted January 11, 2024 Author Posted January 11, 2024 Yes. The drive wheel's from The Freightliner COE
Force Posted January 11, 2024 Posted January 11, 2024 (edited) You know the wheels on the White Freightliner are larger than most Rick? The WF (and a couple other AMT kits) wheels are 22 inch and most of the other AMT and ERTL truck and trailer kit wheels are 20 inch, so the WF rims and tires are larger diameter. Ok Håkan....if you'd be so kind ...this raised a question I've often wondered. Which kit(s)..... if "any" may possibly have 24.5 wheels/tires in 1/25 scale. I'm from the Midwest & spent many a weekend helping a friend service his Dad's owner/operator fleet of 8 tractors...some COE & others conventional. ALL steer & drive axels were 11.00R24.5.
