Painting Figures

I've seen people painting figures on different stands. My question is what do you use to get the figure to stay in place while you paint them?

I have a stand. I need to know what you use to hold the figure on the stand while you paint it

I  paint 1/24 figures and I hold the leg of the figure by the Tim you paint every thing  the acrylic has dried Al you can hold anywhere elese. I use Testors and Tamiya acrylics..

Drill a hole through the foot and glue a piece of wire into it. You can hold the figure in a pin vice to rotate and position it. The wire in the figure's foot can then be used to secure the figure into a drilled hole in your display base.
