mrindy77 Posted January 25, 2024 Posted January 25, 2024 This is my rendition of Dan Gurney's 1967 Spa Winner. It is the SMTS kit in 1/43 scale. I used MCW lacquer paint, Gurney metallic. It is a fiddley kit that requires careful attention to the fitment of the suspension components. I created new decals on the ALPS printer and added a mesh screen over fuel injection. Other metal bits were carefully polished using the dremel and a wire wheel. Heat stains on the exhaust were done using Tamiya clear yellow, orange, red and blue. 7
TonyK Posted January 25, 2024 Posted January 25, 2024 Excellent model! And to see you've done it so well in 1/43rd scale too.
Yeah Nah Posted January 25, 2024 Posted January 25, 2024 What a gorgeous small scale build Cal. Super job!
Pierre Rivard Posted January 25, 2024 Posted January 25, 2024 Mighty impressive sir! This beauty is small scale yet rich with beautiful detailing. This Eagle could be the best looking F1 car ever
rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted January 26, 2024 Posted January 26, 2024 Beautiful! It needs its own glass case. So tiny and so many parts.
Bruce Scully Posted February 6, 2024 Posted February 6, 2024 These smaller scale kits can be very tricky to build , you have done really nice work , well done.
