While looking for parts for the AMT 36 Ford I found another 40 coupe,I told myself I was done with them for awhile but it will go together while waiting on paint and glue to dry.  If I could get it apart I was going to paint it but the body is glued to the fenders too good so it's going to get a new chassis and some detailing and call it done, was going to put a flathead in it but it's going to get a 289 Ford this time since I have never tried to put one in before. It will chrome rims.

I don't know why but I just love these kits. I'll be keeping an eye out Jeff to see where you go with this.

I have a bunch of these in the attic. I like the earlier ones as the lines on the bodies are crisper and the front wheel openings have not gone wonky yet. Later releases the front wheel openings are no longer round.

Here is a Woody I build in the late 70's with real wood. Gotten dusty over the years and had a fall at one point that cracked the wood on the drivers side. But it still runs down the road pretty good if it gets a strong tail wind. LOL.

It's just going to be a quick rebuild,I really wanted to paint it but do not want to break it taking it apart.  This is the fourth 40 I have done like this over the last few months.
