Ace-Garageguy Posted February 10, 2024 Posted February 10, 2024 (edited) This hot mess is currently listed on feePay as a "Bburago diecast" model of a Ferrari 250 GTO. Somehow I doubt its authenticity. Several other sellers have this lovely example of the scale-modelmaker's craft available as well, and one can be yours for anywhere from $39.95 to $84.95, depending on how blind and gullible you are. I've reported the name infringement to feePay. Sell all the tin "art" garbage you want, but don't call it by the name of a respected company that actually does make diecast scale models. Tabbysdaddy Posted February 10, 2024 Posted February 10, 2024 Is that one of those Palmers I hear so much about? 5

I think it's one of those "artistic interpretations, because models don't look right if they're scaled correctly" scenarios we hear so much about. 3

37 caddy Posted February 10, 2024 Posted February 10, 2024 That looks like some of the decorator pieces you would see at bed bath and beyond type of stores?Ive seen some VW buses that look like they were made by the same people.Does it say what scale it is supposed to be,the VW buses looked like 1/8 scale, lots of burnt welds and rust-patina on them too, actually looked pretty cool for a ornament, here in Canada Home-Hardware used to have them. harvey 1

But the issue is at least two of the sellers of this "decorator art" refer to them as made by Bburago, a blatant lie. Edited February 10, 2024 by Ace-Garageguy
