CarNut1 Posted February 16, 2024 Posted February 16, 2024 Pleased to join this forum. Looking for ID help on this umnusual model I own and I can't find anything in my web searching. Believe it's a screw on body with steel axles similar to Annual or Dealer Promo models. 1:25 scale. Woodgrain and lettering decals look original. Anybody seen this model before?
CarNut1 Posted February 16, 2024 Author Posted February 16, 2024 My best guess is Johan or AMT who both had a similar kit available.
Bainford Posted February 16, 2024 Posted February 16, 2024 That's the AMT '65 Lincoln Continental. It can be built stock or custom. The wagon bit is the custom version. The kit has been reissued numerous times over the years, and can be found on ebay etc for reasonable money.
StevenGuthmiller Posted February 16, 2024 Posted February 16, 2024 As Trevor stated, not an unusual kit at all. It's the AMT 1965 Lincoln Continental convertible kit with the optional custom wagon top added. Been around for a loooooong time. I have one of the "Prestige" versions. Just a few pics of others built in the same wagon configuration. This is the latest version of the kit as it's available now. Steve
