NOBLNG Posted February 22, 2024 Posted February 22, 2024 Anyone know what kits these belong to? They were in with a Revell ‘66 El Camino that I got at a flea market. Thanks, Greg.
Mark Posted February 22, 2024 Posted February 22, 2024 I'd bet the plated tree is from a Revell '66 Chevelle wagon. It had an SS hood (those inserts look right for that) plus it had four door handles on that tree.
Keef Posted February 22, 2024 Posted February 22, 2024 The 2 white trees look like the bumper fillers and rear upper suspension arms for the Revell 65 Z16 Malibu SS

I Think all of these kits may have shared parts. 1 hour ago, Keef said: The 2 white trees look like the bumper fillers and rear upper suspension arms for the Revell 65 Z16 Malibu SS Thanks Keith. I have that Malibu kit that I got, minus the engine and ? at the flea market also. The valences are definitely from the Malbu kit, but the suspension pieces aren’t shown in either Revell kit’s instructions.?
Mark Posted February 22, 2024 Posted February 22, 2024 Was it an issue of the Z16 Malibu that included custom wheels? Those would have been on that same plated tree. Nice to get some extra door handles along with the kit!

The suspension pieces #52 & 98 are the rear upper arms for the Revell 66 Chevelle Wagon kit.

Yes the door handles are nice…I think I will make a mold of those.? 2 hours ago, Keef said: The suspension pieces #52 & 98 are the rear upper arms for the Revell 66 Chevelle Wagon kit. Thanks Keith, I don’t have any chevelle wagon kit, so the PO must have thrown them in.

I bet you have the California Wheels reissue of the Elcamino, right? It has the wheels thrown in that originally came in the wagon,, along with a few other parts that are on the tree with them. SO, it actually has a total of 6 door handles in the kit. I'd say those Cragars are from the AMT stock '66 Nova.

The only ‘66 Nova I have is the AMT Resto Rods version, and it only had the one set of wheels and tires I believe.

Note the part # on the Cragars. 1
