Diamond Reo/Montone dump body

........current project in between the 53ft trailer > AMT Diamond Reo,going to use the Autocar Montone dump body with a slight frame stretch and Jamie Rahmoeller's 6-71 Detroit .....I'm going to do it in the Earle Asphalt Company livery like this tired old DM Mack

Nice build choice Scott , they have so many different  types of trucks/ equipment  that you could spend a lifetime building  their fleet  and not run out of options.

lol! you got me pegged Gary ,, I see something and get a brainstorm(or brain fart) and I'm off on another tangent!  I'll see the Reo/dump to completion..... I'm still decaling the 53ft trailer in between ,,,almost done then clear it and finish assembly

...............frame stretched,,walking beams and diffs nailed on,,dump body fitted....6-71T test fitted .......flotation front tires and wheels in the parts pipeline

A little more progress on the Reo,,,cab,hood,dump body and chassis shot..decals next. Chassis ready for engine install and run air lines,etc . Haven't made up my mind on tire/wheel combo yet

Did a little today,installed the Detroit ,decaled and clear coat,,finished the interior tub .......home brewed decals on this one too

Is that the Diamond Reo Kit from Amt?

Just asking because the cab looks exactly like the Autocar and the Western Star cab.

Seems that they use the same cab in several kits.

I noticed that as I used the Autocar to build the Diamond T "Spider Mike" and the Western Star for the Brockway "Widow Woman".

They both had the same cab!
